Get Involved

We believe that all young people have the potential to make a difference.
Everyone has their own part to play and we want to work with you to make things better for yourself, your friends and family, your community and your society.
The Youth Forum has lots going on as you can see in our campaigns and projects sections.
Become a member
The Youth Forum is a membership organisation – this means that any young person living in Northern Ireland can become a member so long as you are aged between 11 and 25.
Once you become a member its up to you how much or how little you get involved. All you are signing up to initially is receiving information from us by e-mail that will tell you about all of the exciting things that we are doing. If we tell you about something we are doing and it interests you – get involved by coming along!
Equally – if you have an idea that you want the Youth Forum to help you with please drop us a line. If you have a project, campaign or issue you want to raise – we can help.
To become a member you need to be:
> From Northern Ireland
> Aged between 11 & 25
Local Youth Forums
We do lots of work helping local youth forums. We can help with setting them up, running campaigns, training young people, connecting them to other youth forums and signposting young people to their nearest youth forum.
Local youth groups and youth forums can become members of the Northern Ireland Youth Forum.
Once your group is a membership organisation it can elect young people to our Executive Committee, take part in Youth Forum training, send young people to our ‘Have Your Say Days’ where young people come together to share experiences and raise and discuss issues of importance to them.
