Committee
An Executive Committee of 12 young people, aged 14-25 manage the NIYF. Any young person who is a member of the organisation can stand for a seat on our Executive. Please contact chris.quinn@niyf.org if you want to find out more about how to do this.

![]() | Ben Mallon - Chairperson Ben (21) is from South Belfast. Ben has been involved in NIYF for a number of years. He is currently studying at Stranmillis University College for a degree in Education with History. Ben is a passionate advocate of youth participation, and believes that all young people have the right to voice their opinions. Ben's interests include politics and travelling. ![]() | Alex Huston - Vice Chairperson Alex (16) is from East Belfast. He has been working with the NIYF for a few years and joined the Executive Committee in January 2009. He is also serving his second term in the Belfast City Council Youth Forum after seeing an advert on a bus. Outside of these, he is an active member of my school cadet force and shooting team. He is also one of the youngest members of the Conservative Party in Northern Ireland. |

Marty (19) is from North Belfast. Marty is studying law at Queens University. He has been involved in NIYF for around 3 years, and has worked on several campaigns. Marty also ran for election as an independent candidate at the Westminster elections, and has interests in all things political. |

| picture to follow | John Cameron - Trustee John is from Carrickfergus. He is also the Chair of Carrickfergus Youth Forum, PRO for St Johns Ambulance Youth, Secretary for St Johns NI, and PRO for Milebush Young Farmers. John enjoys working with young people to help their voices be heard. |
